DESCRIPTION:“Everyone wants a revolution.  No one wants to do the dishes.” –Dorothy Day \nWe have little control over how our nation allocates labor and resources (but use what you have!  Vote and bug your representatives!)\, but we have a lot more in our own houses.  How can we best divvy up the costs and the labor–physical\, mental\, emotional–and fulfill everyone’s needs\, especially if people’s needs and/or abilities are very different?  How should disagreements be adjudicated?  I will draw on multiple sources including Miss Manners’ Guide to Domestic Tranquility and Fair Play by Eve Rodsky. \nThis week’s speaker will be Eva-Lise Carlstrom. \nAfter the talk\, we’ll have a group discussion to explore the ideas presented\, and to share related thoughts\, resources\, and personal experiences. \nThis is an online event hosted on Zoom.
